Zelda OOT menu problem.... FIXED

Today I decided to try some settings for this to see if the menu problem could be fixed..... now it works perfectly. You need to use Jabo's 1.5 direct 3d plugin, and set these options in the rom settings menu:

Counter Factor: 1
SP Hack: On
ABL: Off

That's all I had to do, and it works just how it did on the N64. I hope this helped everyone.....

It wasn't me...
 I dont know about the menu thing ....... it is still at the same speed but my game runs alot faster 124 FPS!!!!!!!!!!:satisfied

Not fixed eh? Oh well....... Atleast it works for me now! There isn't anything I missed. Those are the only settings I had changed from the defaults. Maybe it works for some other people.

Ya.... I'm great aren't I.... lol. Glad to see that it works for other people besides me. Now all I have to do is figure out how to fix the crappiness of the planet view in Star Fox....

uhm...i think it goes a tiny bit faster for me...but not noticably faster ^^; all i see is at points in the game the fps will shoot up to like 100-200 fps and then back down to 60 ^^;

What??? You took that seriously?? lol... that's too funny for words man. I thought it would be obvious, but I guess nobody here knows me so... I can understand that you wouldn't think I was joking. I mean, there are lots of crappy people on forums like this, but I AM NOT one of them.

BTW... still working on that Star Fox problem... That slowdown on the level selection screen is real bad with some plugins i got. When I do get it to work, there are glitches... Any help would be much appreciated on this one

The counter factor is the only setting that actually seems to have an effect, but the effect is good. The menu does load noticeably faster, by 2-3 seconds in my estimation.

Good catch Monki. :)

Right Click on the game and go to edit game settings. The following will come up: then edit the settings to what monki says, note the picture shows the settings that monki suggested

when i right click on the rom, i get the menu on the left side. when i go to configure the graphix plugin, i get the right side. i don't see the screen setting that you've attatched. I'm using PJ64 v1.5

At the top select options, then settings. Then on the options tab uncheck hide advanced settings. Edit game settings should now appear

k, i found it & set the settings, but there's still a little delay, bout a 5 second delay now. is this as quick as it gets? or is there more tweaking?

also, you wouldn't know how to fix the Zelda:MM goron problem, would you?

how in the world are you guys getting more than 60 frames per second, i mean i thought it was locked at 60, and you can unlock it, but doesn't that mess up the synchronization with the sound?

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
Yes, it will. If just a little above, the sound will be a little faster. But if it's too much, there will be crackling in the sound.
