What's the current state of 1964?

I don't want to see 1964 die!

There hasn't been an update to 1964 since 2003 or early 2004!

Has 1964 been discontinued? I hope not, because even Project64 team is still kickin' along! Right when I thought that 1.5 would be the last version!

I hope that 1964 isn't gonna go the route that TR64 went!

sry the 1.0 version is discontinued rice has stop working on it like the rice plugin sorry its like that... a emulator die a other one take the place (like ultra hle) now you need to wait pj64 1.7 but whe are lucky because some console has only dead emulator like the dreamcast...

What about other GFX plugins? Because I have been thinking about completely switching to Linux and there don't appear to be any good GFX plugins! :ranting:

Wasn't 1964 Open Source? Isn't SOMEBODY going to continue it on? Seems like if somebody uploaded the source to CVS on sourceforge Someone somewhere would pick up the ball.

if someone want to continue it but its realy hard...
but for linux there are plugs but none has hires textures suport... windows is good for playing (i got a mac and i use windows for playing, and im normaly a pc user)
but all plugin for retextures are dll (windows runtimes)
