I just ordered this after selling some stuff on ebay(my DC and N64 sniff).

and i got the combo deal so i got this as well
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814142052
from what everyone on guru3d and the reviewers at newegg you can flash it to a x850xt easily(the x800xt sells for a lot more). it will be my first ati card.
I also ordered this mobo to go with it
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130491
and got a half gig of kingston ram(pc 3200)
ill be getting a new case and HDD before long also.

all for about 450. I think i did ok.

My girlfriend will be pissed until I give her son a pretty kickass system(the on i have now) after i get a new case.
or do you think i should ebay my 6600gt and give him the 5200 i have sitting around. maybe ill ebay my 3000+xp as well and give him
my old 1800+ heeh. gotta recoup my money.

lol, yeah i already sold the 5200 on ebay. now if i sell my audigy 2 ill have enough in paypal to get a new case ive been looking at. the onboard sound on this new mobo is excellent(8channel, 7.1) so no real need for the card.

/me shakes head in disbelief

You have much to learn young padawan.

Ok, no onboard sound can match the quality of the Audigy 2 or higher. Even with 7.1 surround, you just can't match it with the cheap piece of crap that comes on a motherboard.
