is there any way i can use the 1.5 plugin with my voodoo3 card? i get an error all the time. the only GFX plugin that my card supports is Glide64 and a few others (but either really slow or really shitty) ... is there like a D3D Wrapper for Glide cards??

All the voodoo series support direct3d making a wrapper useless. The drivers just lack certain blending modes (most that jabo uses actually) causing graphic errors. Install the latest directx and video drivers, just be prepared, it won't look too pretty.

Maybe you have to update your drivers ( www.voodoofiles.com ).
It's nonsense that opengl is working better with a voodoo! Direct 3d isn't playing worser! If your drivers are up-to-date, it will work perfect!

Voodoo isn't a worse video-card! It's not the best but it's still very good!

Also be sure to set your desktop to 16-bit.

Just stick to glide64, or upgrade.
The first one sounds fairest.

Yeah, GLide64 works great on my Voodoo2 SLI. The 'best guess' blend mode usually gets things right for me.

If you're really that worried or whatever, head for www.tdhq.net and download the latest betas (assuming you're in an NT-derivative OS). They should work brilliantly in D3D/OGL.
