Which graphic plugin are you using ? If i remember right, you're using a Mac, and if that's the case, i think gln64 that is the only available plugin for mac do not support this game. The porter said the next version will support plugins so there's still some hope but not right now

You might try the PC/Mac version of the game; its graphics, sound and controllability are infinitely better than the N64 version, IMO.

Don't have 'nuf' $$ yet. When I do.....
