Umm, there are MANY ways to speed up PJ64. There is a whole thread devoted to speeding up emulation, I won't reiterate it. Ask in there if you have any further questions.

Well, he can play Mario64 at full speed :p .

I think you should switch to another emulator (1964 is a very good option, it will run many games at full speed).

Which can't be done enough on those specs.

Well yeah, while switching an emulator would be the best option for him personally, that doesn't mean there aren't ways to speed up PJ64. The main ones being different plugins, no sound, & Neto's app.

Yes of course...but I still don't think it will run that well on those low-end specs... :plain:

If he disabled sound, kept the video overhead low (including using a faster plugin,) tried a couple of speed tweaks game dependently, and used Neto's App, he could get decent speed for most games, I think.

But as I said, another emu would probably be a better choice. :1964:

At your service, dood!
450mhz... try Ultrahle 2064 and 1964, the only emulators that will work decently for that speed of a cpu.

ahhhh, the only flaw that I know of with PJ64, also the one thing that matters the most, SPEED. Well if they would get together and make the emulator compatible with a dynamic compiler, then maybe it will get faster. PJ64 is what I use for any game, but the games that run slow, then I use 1964 for basically any game by Rare, cause thats just my PC
