3 Things:
1) Are save states emulator specific? I'm assuming they are, but if so is there any way to convert them so they can be shared? Also, if a game used the memory pack feature, could I save the memory pack file to my hard drive and access THAT across emu's? Seems logical to me, but then again, logic only means so much when you're dealing with a computer...
2) What exactly is an RSP plugin? I've noticed it on a couple emu's but it's not self explanatory like "video", "audio", and "controller". No specific issue at all, just curious what it does and if it'll help to have a few of them downloaded in case I need them.
3) So I'm sitting here playing Paper Mario today, and honest to God it's got to be one of the best looking games I've played for the N64 (my console died right around the time that came out, so I never got a chance to play it when it was released). Anyways, everythings running great, better than any other game I've emulated actually, but then I get to the first major village and I get terrible flicker. It seems like the background is trying to come through the foreground...and an even weirder thing is whenever it flickers, Mario takes it upon himself to just stroll to the left. When I enter a house it all goes back to normal. As soon as I exit it's back again. I've tried the following plugins to no avail: Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2, Jabo's Direct 3D8 1.6, Rice's Video Plugin 5.9.9, and TR OpenGL v0.8.8. Audio is Azimer's HLE Audio v0.56 WIP 1 if that matters at all. Is this a known issue with this rom, and if not any suggestions on how to clean things up graphically?
Okay, I wrote a book here
. Any help is much appreciated...
