I know this isn't the forum for it but I'm new and got feed up of trying to find it I only have one question
I'm using an adapter and my original n64 controller to play super smash bros and I down loaded everything and the game play is great except
when i use the c button to jump (as kirby my only player) it acts as if I jump till I can't any more and i can't cancel out of it
so when i jump it jumps 6 times no matter what even if i only press it twice. is this a hardware error or is it something i can fix?

Well first things first, you've entitled your post Sixtyforce, so are you using that emulator to play? On a Mac?

Ah, ok - can't help you with that I'm afraid, as I'm not familar with the emulator and I don't have a Mac either :-(

Have you tried Mupen64Plus?

no but ill give anything a try can it get net play?

Unfortunately I don't think so, some development was done on it a few years ago but pretty sure it's disabled at the moment.
