Searching for great games

Hi there,

I'm searching for good and playable Dreamcast games.
I'll use Chankast v.0.25 Alpha for playing.

Who knows good and working games?

Out of the few that I've played, I'd say:

Soul Calibur (one of the best fighting games in history)
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 (if you like games like Sonic, these are awesome)
Crazy Taxi (light, fast, arcade style driving)
Virtual On 2: Orartorio Tangram (awesome fully 3D mecha combat)
Vigilante 8 2nd Offense (still one of the best car-combat games ever)

Soul Calibur runs good, although the menus can be messy. You should look up instructions on getting Sonice Adventure 1 working right, and I think SA2 requires an ATI video card to function properly throughout the whole game (might be old info, though). Crazy Taxi works fine. Virtual On 2 might need the utopia boot disk as well. V8 2nd Offense has slightly garbled menus, but should work just fine.

Shenmue; although that crashes near the end of the game for some apparently, just play it.

Skies of Arcadia; can be a bitch to get to work, awesome RPG.

Grandia 2; works great for me, doesn't get past a loading screen for some though, another awesome RPG.

Ikaruga; great shooter, although there are some invisible bullets on level 2 :x

You should just burn games to disc though and play them on a real Dreamcast really - they're cheap as hell...

Jet Set (Grind) Radio - one of the best games ever (skating)
REZ - music shooter
18 wheller - 18 whaller racer
Tokyo bus guide - really fun game (bus sim)
UFC - full contact fighting
Virtua Tennis 2 - great tennis
Samba de amigo - music game
Resident Evil CV - horror

PowerStone 1 and 2 are fun too. Too bad it gets a tad slow with 4 players.

MDK2 - action 3rd person shooting with lots of humour, don't know how it works on chankast though

Ecco Defender of the Future - interesting and original game in which you control a dolphin. A good game for chilling out sometimes. Unfortunately it has bugged textures and pratically no sound effects (only music).
