I noticed there were spots for gamepads in the control setup. What gamepads does Project64 support?

Most DirectInput-compatible gamepads will work. I don't think it matters if it's an USB or gameport gamepad, as long as the appropriate drivers are installed. Some very old gamepads and certain USB gamepad adapters might have problems though.

The N-Rage Input plugin has support for more models than Jabo's DirectInput plugin though.

I don't know what all those technical terms mean. I just got a Logitech Rumblepad 2, but I don't want to open it until I know it will work.
