Wow, been quite a while since I posted here. Well, getting to the point...
I need some technical help on a PSP Slim 2001. I've been having an issue with the left trigger registering as being constantly down. It is not pressed, but the system registers it as being so. I've tried changing the firmware. I've tried opening the system to clean the contacts, but it is not visibly dirty. I've also tried swapping the D-Pad and L button from another PSP Slim. The PSP Slim that I swapped with has been unused for a while and was quite dusty. Now, both systems suffer from the same problem. Since I neglected to test the buttons on the donor before swapping, this seems to leave me with two possibilities:
* The contacts are indeed dirty and affected the systems the same way.
* The donor board was somehow damaged in the same way during the transfer.
So, there it is. Anyone help provided would be greatly appreciated. I have tried Google and Youtube with no luck.
