PS2 Emulator Elf Problem

hi everyone
i need your help, i have 12 ps2 game images (iso)
and i use a virtual cd program (fantomcd) to mount those images
but when i use the emulator (pcsx2 , nsx2) the game won't run
what is an elf and how do you make one from a game image?

with pcsx2 u need to use linuz iso driver or cdvdiso, select the image then goto file->runcd

i doubt nsx2 runs any games, so its hardly worth attempting.

having said that, dont guarentee it working on pcsx2

an ELF file is the PS2's version of the EXE, basically the main file that runs the game.

to get it of the disk (which you dont need to do to make it run may i add) you need to mount the iso on a virtual drive or open the image in a program such as MagicISO or ISOBuster and extract it.

the file will be called something like

SLUS_873.24


this can be renamed to whatever.elf if you wish.

huh, homebrewn gc games use the .elf extension too

i thought GC homebrew used .dol.... aint that the equivalent of an exe?
