I just dl'ed the lastest N-rage plugin, and still it can't open my Pokemon silver rom file, I just gamesharked my pokemon. I have the debug version, and Jabo's plugin for sound and visual. It says it's a n-rage plugin error. Sny help would be so appericiated.

Options --> Configure controller plugin --> Controller 1(tab) --> Controller Pak(tab)

select transfer pak from the drop-down list, tick the RawData box and tell the plugin where the GB/GBC ROM is (on your hard drive) and its associated save file.
Make sure for the controller configurations and in modifiers you have no references to gamepads that aren't plugged in. Also note that gameboy tower doesn't work for some reason.

Yer the gameboy thing dosent work unless you play it on the n64 witch arnt sold anywheres in the world anymore so just get a emulator for the gameboy or gameboy advance thats all i did.

I inputed the directory into the transfer pak configuration, and still can't read. Btw, the directory is C:\Program Files\Project64 1.6\0672 - Pok俶on Silver (USA)(Oldskool).gbc, it is the same for both rom file and rom save.

This is not going to work. Let me explain.

N-Rage does not emulate the transfer pak. The transfer pak is a specific piece of hardware that streams data from the cart to the game. It doesn't read files as in a standard filesystem and it certainly won't look for a specific ROM name. If N-Rage did support the Transfer Pak, you'd need to rename it to something else. However, this is not supported and I bet won't be supported, so you'll need to do something else to play this game. If you have an actual N64, that's your choice.

BTW, Your computer is interpreting the accented 'e' and 'm' as a single UTF-16 char. I guess this is an issue with transfer or archive software character map support really, but just thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering. Oh and also, if your going to download ROMs when you display the file name you could at least take off the name of the team that retrieved it :p

N-Rage does emulate the transfer Pak, although the compatibility is rather poor. But it does work. The 2.00 Beta version of N-Rage supposedly has slightly better Transfer Pak emulation.

Huh? It's not advertised on their website. I figured that was a reliable source.

2.00 is not developed by the original N-Rage developer. Several EmuTalk members are working in collaboration to make the plugin better, hence v2.00.

Pokemon Stadium 2 issues

I hear ya deathmoon. I am having the same problem as well. Difference is that despite the fact that I made a save file for BOTH Gold and Yellow, Project 64 is still not reading it. It sees the 'cartridge' and all, but not the save file, and I did give these save files names different from the game itself. Help, please.... I am doing for a friend btw....:plain:
