Permenatly enable audio sync?

I found that my machine requires the audio sync to always be enabled for the sound to run perfectly. However, every time I load a rom I have to go into settings to enable sync audio.

Is there a way in the INI to make this a permanent setting?

Could be useful for 1.7 (probably already done in fact), since the audio has been improved so that the option doesn't break games when enabled (e.g. Turok - Dinosaur Hunter does not work with the sync option enabled in the 1.6 release).

If you're looking to set it globally, no, because (as Clements explained) it has a way of breaking certain games. The setting is stored per-game in the registry though, so once you've set it for a particular game you won't have to bother with it again.
