PC Component Temperatures

Can anyone tell me what the normal operating temperatures for general components are? my main reason for asking is cuz I have no fans in my computer and one of my Hard Drives (IBM Dekstar. used to be a BUSlink USb Drive) is so hot right now that I could probably make popcorn on it (LOL). but the most weird part is, my case is so small I had to stick that drive in an empty cd bay, but that bay has no front cover on it, so airflow is available into the case. so, any ideas?

1) Best solution - get another case.

2) get hard drive cooler.

3) If you have a money or other problems and can't replace case just remove case cover.

P.S. IBM drives sux (except SCSI U160/U320 :) ). Barracudas is waaay better.

And 5400 rpm HDDs not so hot and not much slower

maybe I will get myself a small box fan and mount it to the side of the case. :D that would definitely get tons of airflow. it will be noisy, but what else is new? LOL
