What a small world. I actually go to those forums 0.o

Yeah, everything is legal there, don't worry.

That's debatable. The copywrite covers all parts of the game, including the audio. My point was, no one seems to question the distribution of USFs (or PSFs, SPCs, NSFs, etc.) so why would mp3s be any different?

Yeah, I'd say that strictly speaking, they are illegal, but a majority of the profits game companies get are from games, not soundtracks, so I doubt they worry nearly as much about unauthorized soundtrack distribution as they do about unauthorized game distribution. It's one of those things that skates by because the powers that be have bigger fish to fry.

I'm going by what the administrator had said. Also, no money is being made of any of this. Napster was legal up until hey made money.

Unauthorized distribution is unauthorized whether you pay for it or not. I'm not saying I disapprove of the site or anything like that, but that's how it works. Obviously no one cares enough to make a big deal out of it though, so download while the going's good. :)
