Recently I have not been able to get my computer to connect to the net. I was tring to set it up so a 98 comp and my xp comp could be on a hum and share the cable internet. this machine (win 98) is all setup and working great, but my comp (XP) won't even find the internet. It can't even connect directly if I plug it straight into the modem, but it worked like that before (directly). I don't think I made any changes between the last time is was working and now. In fact I just did a completley fresh install this morning.
I did notice when I have it pluged into the hub the left light that says it's connected, is on. but the light that shows activity just sits there without blinking at all...
Any ideas?
