New Dolphin video! *UPDATE* *UPDATE x2*

UPDATE: More screenshots of Ikarugi, and a second movie!
UPDATE x2: A third movie has been added - Malcolm

The Dolphin (GameCube emulator for Windows) author just contacted me, telling me that the emulator is capable of playing videos now! The author also sent a screenshot and a video of Ikaruga, and here's a little log of our short phone conversation:

So don't for a second think development of Dolphin has stopped! :D

zelda winwalker (waker?) is supposed to be 50 percent playable on dolphin i read somewhere or maybe it was a scam?

Nice. One question, though: is it required something to play this? Like divx codec or something? Couldn't play it at school.

weird CPU bug looking for such a thing in free time (on a console which is undocumented ?!), ahh ... RESPECT !!! kepp up the Good Work!

Woohooo! This is great news. ^_^ I can't wait until we finally see some released version. Until then, I'll hvae to settle for PJ64 and Zelda OOT ^_^. :sp_canada

So it´s easier to emulate than PS2 but not perfect of course (I mean GFX issues and all that)...

if ya ask a ps2 emu-author he will tell ya ps2 emulation is the most difficult buisness.
ask a DC emu-author and he will tell that DC emulation is much more difficult because the PS2 EmotionEngine is so well documented
and prolly if ya ask a GC emu-author he will say that he is the only one who has to reverse a whole system... at least the PowerVR chip of the DC is well know


my two cent


ps: you can HLE all three systems
