im using project64 plz help! and i need ALL the controls

erm... goto options, configure controller plugin.
if you have a joypad then select is as a game device then set up the control like you would any other game....

Oh, and on kirby, you have to use the number lock panel arrows to move.

That's called the numpad or number pad. The d-pad is mapped to the numpad by default.
