PJ64 is doing it all the time, games almost all the time , DXDIAG shows everything's ok at anytime.

i have re-updated all my drivers, to the latest, even the intel chipset drivers. Still doing it , except that when i reinstalled the nvidia drivers it seemed to work ok for a couple of reboots.

all i can say is that as far as i can remember, before SP1 everything was ok . and i discarded my old CD. now i only have SP1 integrated with the installation.

damn microsoft ... or is it really a graphic card problem ?! but even if it were , wouldnt there be a blue screen or something similar to tell that an error occured ?

Hee hee - yes, please God: damn Microsoft!

But seriously - this problem isn't caused by pj64, so other than collecting the obvious suggestions you probably aren't going to get high quality help here - you aren't asking questions in the right place. This is an XP/SP/Graphics card problem, seems to me. Find some XP/Graphics Card XYZ forums.

Didn't you say you reinstalled XP? How about reinstalling Windows - but install Win2K instead? Or Win98? You could even dual boot if you didn't want to remove WinXP - just to see if everything works under Win98 or whatever - my guess would be that it'll work fine under Win98. If so, your next step would be obvious...
