I think its the currency conversion is quite similar though... Cause I came to Canada from Australia about 7 months ago

or maybe computers in Canada are cheaper in General?

Theres about 20 cents difference $1 AUD is worth about .80 CAD Thats what i love about Canada its not expensive to import from!

I got my mobo and processor combo about december too and it was like $330 now my mobo is like $53, and still a great mobo, read the anandtech review on it
