I have a strange feeling about this:

The author of the page (Dracman) is in the credits page of the glidos 'dos2win glide wrapper' (that could give him some credit), but what he claims is fucking weird.
He says that he has been able to run Tomb Raider1 3dfx on his GF3, with the standard glide2x (and glide.ovl) drivers.
The site is messed up (I can't find any logic in the plan of that site), and the links to the '3dfx tomb.exe' and '3dfx Tombub.exe' are wrong (but I think that this is more a typo than anyting else because the link is ok in another page of the site).
You must replace

http://www.smokeypoint.org/3dfxtomb1.zip,
and
http://www.smokeypoint.org/tombub3dfx.zip with
http://www.smokeypoint.org/3dfxtombub.zip
It sounds much like bullshit, but I can't test this by myself (gf2, and WinXP). If someone (with a GF3 and win 98) has the time to test his 'method', it would be nice. It could be usefull to test his files on a real 3dfx card too.
