When i start up Project 64, an error message called "Graphics Error" and says "Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0". I then hit ok and another error message comes up called "Error" and says:
"The default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid.

Check that you have at least one compatible plugin file in your plugin folder" I then hit ok and the "Settings" Porperties comes up with the "Plugins" tab is opened with the "Video (graphics) plugin:" is highlighted. the only plugin that's there is "Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5" I think there might b something wrong with the plugin. It will not even detect new video plugins. (when it did work link (in both games) wuz wearing white instead of green, also had SOME (not a lot of) graphic problems.)

Computer Spec. are:
CPU: 858 MHz Pentium 3
Windows: ME
Ram: 127 Mbs
Display Properties (under "Settings" tab):
Display: "HP D5259A Pavilion M70 Monitor on Intel(R) 82810E Graphics Controller"
Colors: "True Color (24 bit)" (the highest it can go)
Screen Area: "1024 by 768 pixels" (the middle: 800 * 600 does not center correctly)

I think that's all i need to mention. If you guys need more information please let me know.

Meh...
i think you can only have 16-bit or 32-bit color on.

and just an extra note, change your OS :p to like Win98SE or WinXP. so i guess you're stuck with 16-bit. btw try to buy a new video card, cause onboard video just plain sUx0rs

no, i played it b4 on 24-bit, but the colors where messed up. the Screenshots is from the working Project 64. I'm also having trouble running it thru Nemu64. same thing but Nemu suggests that it could b a hardware problem, which i don't get. No upgrades, left the computer the way i bougt it and same thing. i did have this problem b4 and the emu's only worked for like 2 days b4 nothing and this error's again.

Unless u can send me another OS, i'm stuck with ME. unless u want me to switch my ME with WFW3.11 (trying to upgrade to 95 but it may not work), but that would not even open the emulator, so i guess i will just stay with ME for now.

also i have no money to upgrade my Video Card. this is the same video card that came with my system. I know it can run the graphics, i have done it b4. but this is (i think) a problem with the emulators not picking up the current drivers or not using the card proberlly. that is the only way it will not work. if somebody can get me an emulator that just runs the ROM's on the system defaults, then it would run almost perfectly. but untill that emulator is created, i have to fix this problem.

(off the subject here, if somebody can give me a link to where i can download a GBA emulator that can link with itself like "TGB_Dual" can, i would greatly appreciate it. PLEASE, if u r going to talk about this instead of the main subject (being y i created this thread (the error problems)), but it in pratheses like i did, thx)

(also, can u also tell me where i can find the DirectX9 Beta? thx)

?????????????????????????
Use 16-bit color. Get Glide64 & eVoodoo (see below for links) and configure pj to use Glide64 as your video plugin.
Then it should run fine.

1. When I went done from 24-bit to 16-bit, I didn't get the errors like i always do. But the colors where still off.

like i wuz saying b4 (I think), Project 64 will not detect new plugins. I don't know y, but it should.

2.I did run it on these drivers b4, but the colors were off like they r now. check out the screenshots.

What is "Serious Sam SE"?

when it does run (with color problems) it runs at about 50 FPS if the game does not require an Expansion and about 40 FPS if it does require an expansion

3. When i just recently tried to do these test, the sound wuz chopy. It's not that bad, i still can hear the music and it doesn't skip any noises, but it's not sycronized with the game. It's like a milisecond behind. when i record it and play it back, it seems that there is no chopy noises and that it's just when the game is played, it's properlly with the video running that makes it chopy. it's not as bad as my Video problem but i would still like it fixed. Please help me with my video problem first. THX.
