You're right, Athlon XP's don't have SSE2. That's odd, since this is actually the FIRST application I've come across that absolutely NEEDED it. Didn't the older versions use it, but it wasn't needed? (like only a recommended hardware spec instead of required)

SSE2 optimizations help to perform faster emulation, ofcourse they could be implemented differently but that would result in a real slide show.

And its not the only emu using SSE2, PCSX2 also have several plugins which wont run without.

But those are only plugins. Dolphin doesn't even open.
