DOA2, can anyone play [i]full[/i] speed?

has anyone been able to play this game at full speed 60/60 or over? if you have, what's your hardware config? me, highest i've gotten is about 46, but gameplay's usually dancing around the 30s. menu's and cutscene's are good, and sometimes too fast.
oh eyah, this is with my a64 3500+ that i oc'd a bit to 2.4. is cpu speed the only bottleneck?
