Demul crashes instantly.

The problem apparently only happens when the program runs full-screen. Otherwise, it runs okay.
System specs:
i7 2400K
GTX580
12 GB 1333 RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
Any help is appreciated.

Okay, I was wrong. The crashes happen no matter what. I'm using the latest version of Demul, but I've tried a few others as low as 5.5 and every single time I've tried running it, fullscreen or not, it crashes within seconds of starting up. Sometimes it makes it past the system screen, but most of the time it doesn't.

I had the same problem for quite a while. These are my specs:
i7 4700HQ
GTX 765M
8 GB RAM
Windows 8.1 64-bit
If I remember correctly what I had to do was download and install The Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime (9.0c) from Microsoft.com. Do you know if you have that installed? Even if you do, try to install it again. It's been a little while, but I think that's what helped me. Try it and let me know.

I'd considered that maybe I'd need to reinstall one of those. I'll give them a whirl and see if it helps. Thanks!
