Conkers Bad Fur Day ba dsound in v1.6

When I run conker in v1.6 the game runs alright but the sound is so choppy at some times it gets so nasty you can't understand it.

Computer specs please. Also, have you tried with 'Sync Game to Audio' enabled?

You might also have put the audio mode of the game to surround, try the stereo it works a lot better for me.
