You've got it! There was no Alpha GameCube Emulator. Please don't lie:

Why you didn't believed us?

1. We had no real proof.
2. The screenshots could be faked.
3. We censored the name of Zelda TP.
4. We had no availible downloads.
5. We wanted money for the insider's sections (we didn't had time to post the news about our "Insider's section" because you were too fast unveiling the truth).

But why you believe this?

They didnt have a real proof that they make an emulator.

Their screenshots could be faked.

We censored the name, they didn't almost show the name of the game.

They had no availible downloads. Why not? Because they want that their emulator is better than this one:

Everybody believes in Dolphin because you can download and test it.

And now the point where we could go crazy. They wanted 7 USD for some pics and video stuff in their "N'sider section" Who pays money for screenshots of gamecube games?

This guys do.

If somebody understands us you could write in your favorite emulation forum.

Bye and sorry for the fake but it has a reason.

You can ask everyone of them! All will confirm you that its worth joining to nsider (and im not saying that because im also a nsider guy). There is no real proof that gekko etc is real and i myself never saw anything which couldnt be faked but im still sure about that emulator! Btw does noone needs to pay 7 usd... its just a little support to the dev team which offer a gamecube emulator for free to us!

Indeed! But you should know that some members from the Dolphin team also works on the gekko emulator! And if gekko would be released yet people would begin to compare it with dolphin and say around "dolphin is better then gekko" and " why doesnt gekko is better" etc... consider this!
You guys entertained us alot anyway ;)

Personally, that's kinda sad all those people had the time and effort to erect their own site...make up their (poorly done) screenshots...and then make a finale like that having a hack at other people.

I wouldn't mind betting there is at least one n00b in there somewhere :p

Hmm wells this little thing has reminded me about something I did when I was little *blushes in shame* I think when I was hmm...maybe 15-16 I was just getting into the emulation scene, and I had this big idea I would make my own emulators lol I even downloaded program writing software (DevC++ & Visual Studio) and attempted to learn how to do it. Unfortunately I never got past generating a basic window, which was customised and had popup windows for settings and stuff :p

But in failing to make my own, I went and designed my own emulators for multiple consoles that I would use later on when I had the knowledge and skill to make them (when you're young, you have big ideas).

So I thought I might post them here for people to have a laugh at lol Ohs and I did a controller trace up in flash which was meant for my future "Controller Plugin" dialog :p

Okays MY gamecube emulator was called CUBE128, which I came up with from the Nintendo64 (which was and is still my favourite console), and the fact that the Gamecube was it's successor, it was twice as good lol

Also here are some Gamecube controller renders I did, Indigo, JetBlack, SpiceOrange :)

I also did:

NGENS - a Nintendo and Genesis combo emulator.
SNATCHES - a Super Nintendo Emulator.
MXPC - a Xbox Emulator.
PS13 - a Playstation 1-3 Emulator.
PortablePS - a Playstation Portable Emulator.
RevolutionDS - a Nintendo DS emulator.

lol
And instead I did compatibility lists in flash :p My hobbies...Unfortunately I'm more design orientated than a hardcore programmer :p But I rock with Actionscript.

I personally never thought it was fake to begin with.

Guys on the team who i know like shizzy and apprentice are proven emulator devs, so why would they lie anyway lol.

Keep up the great work gekko team :)
