Hi. I have, through almost 6 hours of painstaking research, finally emulated my first game on chankast :) marvel vs capcom 2.

my problem is that the VMS's dont have enough memory to save on the game, so I can't unlock any new characters. I also downloaded a .CDI and .VMS from gamefaqs.com to get all the characters, but I need free blocks of space in the first place to save them to it! How do i get free blocks of space

The VMU Browser can only import VMI saves that have a VMS pair. Since most VMI saves you can download fro, GameFAQs don't have the VMS part, you can't import the saved games either.

Google or search the board for VMS Explorer. That might fix the "not enough free space" issue.

I dont get you guys. My problem is that I emulated Marvel Vs capcom but I have no free blocks to save at all. I want to know how to free up spaces. I looked for a VMS explorer but I did not find anything.

Then you need to format the VMU or at the very least remove whatever saves are taking up the space on it. You can delete stuff on the VMU or format it through the Dreamcast BIOS (Run the emulator without a image or disc inserted).

Although I don't see how the VMU can be full if you've never saved any data to it.
