blight let me know on IRC that two brand new sound plugins compatible with the Linux port of the N64 emulator Mupen64 has just been released at EmuTalk.

The first one is an ALSA (advanced linux sound architecture) plugin coded by Guilhermef, and the second one is a SDL (simple directmedia layer) coded by JttL. Both plugins are an alternative to the OSS (open sound system) plugin by Hacktarux that comes with the emulator.

I'm happy to present that both authors are now EmuTalk members, so be sure to give them some feedback, the Mupen64 forum would be the place to do so, or you could just leave a comment in this news post. :)

EDIT: JttL just released 1.0 beta 2 of his plugin.
