Super Smash Brothers keeps on crashing! Help please?

The game boots up and I try to play 1 player game, but it crashes when I press start. I have a cheat so i could be Giant DK. What should i change so the game will start? :ermm:

-Is your Super Smash Bros. rom verified by GoodN64?
-I don't think you don't meet PJ's minimum requirements, so you'll be better off with UltraHLE 2064 for decent speed.

The Answer Is:

The cheat crashes always in 1 player mode. You can fight him always but no luck to play as big d.k.

It works in multiplayer mode only!

Which also means no giant d.k to play as during break the targets abd board the platforms minigames.

As the note clearly says .....

Only put this on after you have alreay Chose your Character on the Main Menu,& Do not use more then 1 Character Modifier at a time.Using this Code could also result freezing at the end of the Level.

You need to choose your Character & then press start then when you see who you are playing against screen then you put the code on.
