Resident Evil 2 Help

Ok, I just downloaded Project64, and I run Resident Evil 2 and I get those horible graphic trails behind leon and zombies, and the background is black. Does anyone have exact steps to make this game playable?

Could you please direct me to the thread that is dedicated to getting RE2 to work? I'm having troubles locating it; even with search.

The game doesn't really work that well whatever combo you use, unless you use Glide64 with a Voodoo graphics card.
