What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

Alright i'm gonna get right to it, I have been looking around forums and videos, all sorts of stuff, but i can't seem to find any help from what i'm seeing. I've been looking to create and make my own HI-res textures and put them into some n64 roms. Mainly Extreme G 2 beings that its one of my favorite games. The problem is that I don't know how to get the textures in the rom. I have found some information about getting the dump textures and all, however whenever I try to load them in, it ends up getting replaced by the current texture over and over again. Is there anyone who knows a way of putting self made textures into a rom? It would be much appreciated if someone could help me out here.

Moved to the correct forum...

We don't put textures inside of the ROM, the video plugins overlays our date on top of the original.
