K, thanks for the info. I'll try the Direct 3D6 one to see if it works, though I think I might have already tried it... I'll have to check again... I'll probably be getting a new card soon anyway, so this'll help me out in the future. Is the plugin available for download at this site?

anyways.. if u need to unisntall project 64 n you're afraid of losing the saved game (with the F5 key) just go ahead and copy the folder named "Save" on the root folder of Project64 n when u install it again, then copy the "save" folder u had already copied before n run the same ROM .. then hit F7 n u will have the same save state u had before

Geforce 4 MX does not support Pixel Shaders, which are required to use Jabo's D3D8 Plugin. Go to the Options menu and select Settings. Change the video plugin to Jabo's D3D6 1.5.2 and see if that helps.

I have an asus A7V8X-MX with an XP 2400, and i am using the shitty onboard graphics, the VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP (32MB Shared), 1964 w/ jabo DX8 video plugin. The only game i had problem with so far, is yoshi's story. Games like Zelda, GoldenEye, run OK and smooth. Didn't try perfect dark yet.

i have the same problem with the games and that Jabo's D3D6 1.5.2 helps but when you play zelda there are still some few places with black textures. aren't there lower versions??

put gln64.dll in your c:/program files/prjecy 64/plugins directory then using the choosing plugin menu choose glN64
glN64 - News
worked for me

Thank you so much!
I used to have the same problems you guys with Zelda. I have a ASUS A7V8X-X and a Geforce 4 MX 440 too.
I downloaded and installed the gln64 plugin and now it's perfect! No more problems with dark water and somethings in Ocarina of Time. Thanks, see ya!
