Ok well whenever i start up PJ64 it says the default selected video plugin, audio plugin, RSP plugin, and input plugin is missing. Tried the click thing, didnt work. So it goes to settings where there is a down arrow thats supposed to show my stuff and nothing is there.

Im running windows XP home edition 5.1
I no i have a good enough processor and RAM
I have an internal Intel Graphics Controller (it works for games with better graphics than these so im assuming its ok)
I have Soundmax digital Audio
and i have a keyboard, mouse, and wired 360 controller.

Run dxdiag and then run the Direct3D tests (and preferably all the other tests as well). If they don't pass, you have a serious problem.

XBCD are advanced drivers for XBOX 360 and Xbox classic controls which provide better functions, over the original drivers

When people don't answer, that means that they don't know how to help you.

Now, have you ran dxdiag and checked the different DirectX tests like I told you to on Page 1?

And I take it that you've already tried updating your graphics card drivers. Contrary to wht you might think, most (if not all) Intel's integrated graphics solutions are very poor. You can't compare PC games and emulation; while the chip might work flawlessly in PC games, it is severely lacking in emulation.

Still, all these things considered, plugins shouldn't fail even if one has an Intel chip. If updating the drivers doesn't help, then I'm out of advice to give you. Reinstalling DirectX is probably something you should try, although I feel that it won't help much.

Could you be a bit more specific as to what exactly is going wrong?

What game are you trying to run?
What plugins are you using?
What settings for the plugins are you using?
What processor/graphics card do you have? (ie. Which "good enough" processor and ram, and which Intel graphics chip?)

Also it's not nice to spam the thread with multiple "please help me!!!"s within a day of each other. Post it once, then if there's no reply in a few days then you might bump it up.

All plugins fail to initialize according to Ultimentra. He can't use any specific settings for the plugins, because the plugins fail to initialize. Therefore he can't run any games on Project64 because lo and behold, the plugins fail to initialize.

Are you seeing the pattern here?
