What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Little Texturing Advice? Please?

Ok, im trying to texture SSB 64 with rices video plugin. I understand that you must include 3 images that are the same names as the dumped versions
"_ci.bmp"
"_ciByRGBA.png"
"_ci.bmp"

If i edit these 3 pictures and put them in the correct folder - Fine, they show up edited.

However, I noticed on Dijipis Cel Zelda Pack, he doesnt use 3 textures. He uses only
"_ciByRGBA.png"
I also noticed he seems to have a higher pallete than the one used in the game, whenever i try a different pallete, it doesnt show up. Is there something im missing or doing stupidly so that i can use a high colour image in these textures without them looking grainy? Is there a certain option i need to check or a file extension to modify.

Thanks for looking.

You don't change the extension. Changing the file extension will do nothing, and the plugin knows what each format is internally, so its senseless doing so. Also, there's no other options to check.....
