Is my video card a problem?

Hi,
Project 64 is great by the way, I just found it.
I am having problems playing Zelda: Majoras Mask. Periodically, it will just boot me out with the generic Windows error "Project 64 has encountered an error and has had to shutdown".
I am wondering if it is due to my video card or some other hardware issue.
My comp is Pentium 4 3ghz, 1gb ram, excalibur radeon 9250 128mb video card. Is this adequate or should I be looking at another problem?

update your drivers and see if that does it it's not the card it's the hardware. go to www.ati.com for video drivers:bouncy: :bouncy:

That card is plenty to run pj64. Just update your video drivers and you should do fine.

ok thanks guys, I had updated drivers, but I think I needed a directx upgrade

Grab the very lastest DirectX (DX9.0c Feb 2006) here:

unfortunately I am still getting the same error even after driver and direct x updates

if I remember well I believe that there was some problem with ATI card...

pass to NVIDIA card
with the NVIDIA card, it's sure no problem

Er, I use both ATi and Nvidia and both play the game fine. There are no ATi-specific issues that I'm aware of.
