i have a problem when i open a rom appears that pj64 have a unknown error. What can i do?

It's a software that checks if a rom is good or bad. Mostly. It can do some other stuff, too, but that's the most recent used function.

Getting that error means Project64 crashed.
When the message says "unknown", for example
What the message stating "unknown" means:
"PROJECT64 caused an invalid page fault in module
unknown", it means Windows identified Project64 faulted with
the N64 ROM. Windows will say "unknown" instead of
"PROJECT64 caused an invalid page fault in (filename)",
because Windows cannot tell if an N64 ROM is a program,
because it's not an .exe, an executable Windows program or
a Windows DLL (dynamic link library), which is a program
extension for additional functions (ex. plugins).

Well, I'm not happy Project64 crashed on you, and I can help you
with the following:
1.Reset the Project64 default settings by:
going to c:\Program Files\Project64 v1.5\Uninstall and
select the file, "remove all Project64 settings.reg" to reset
Project64 settings all back to default.
2. Temporarily avoid using the save state and
only load the ROM.

Also, can you please post your PC system specifications.
We need to know what processor, video card and video card drivers you are using.

Pj64 doesn't work very good with 8 mb video cards. If you have 8 mb, try 1964.
