I've tested a few titles but so far everything seems to be working just like in original 0.4. What exactly are the improvements You've made? I think knowing them would help a little. For those that didn't know: the fps counter is funky, it doesn't show correct values.

beta 2 with recompiler will be released soon very soon...

games running at full speed now hehehe...

I also would like to ask someone to help with the images with the black image problem (something not emulated right gfx).

i also updated msys to new gcc version and got another 5% speed increase...

thanks for the replys...... i havent been on the web in a while to view them.

hle emu is falty and when i remove it completly it should run faster again...

shizzy I really didn't do much to xtales fix (thanks xtale)
except some asm optimisations..

would love to help with gekko if you let me???

the fps counter is the same as other versions i didnt touch it (yes it is wrong)...
but compare it to older versions of gcube and you will understand why everyone is so suprised..

when i first made my post about my progress a few months ago no one believed me how about now eh...

Nice, gcube with a recompiler, can't wait.
BlueFalcon7: the fps counter shows more fps that infact the games are running with.

One question: what kind of requirements does the recompiler have? SSE2 maybe?

when i release beta 2 there will be two versions...

one will store ps instructions to sse2 regs (big big speed increase)
and the other which uses memory.

i am also doing some gfx emulation in asm hehehe...

i also fixed hle emulation and added a lot more functions to it.
the problem when playing a second thp file is also fixed.

my current computer is only a p4 1.5ghz with gforce 6200 and i am getting very high fps (with lots of random crashes though)

it's great to here that there is a new version (modified by you) of gcube! :D

why don't you ask gc emulation team to open a forum for gcube and your project? :D
maybe you can add sticky posts and ask for more help from the internet community!

when i have time i will try it..i have to try dolphin yet! :)

So, this version is going to be even faster :eek:

and as for the THP stuff, didnt monk get his THP player working perfectly? If so, than why is the THP player buggy in the emu?

because i use some asm optimisations and ported it from cygwin i was left with compiling errors (at which point i used a quick fix).

the thp player is a seperate program.
hle was the problem

I got another question, Do you plan to split up the program so it has plugins, and/or add a GUI?

well.. i can't run it! maybe i'm stupid, but i have extracted the iso and i can't find any .gcm file!

in the folder root there are only:

opening.bnr
screenshots
movie
maps
audio
fpack

i can't understand... (i have only one iso!)

I think the program plays THP incorrectly because... no shaders support.

When I play Dolphin, and select to extract textures, when playing THP files, it will have 3 pictures for each frame. Red channel, green channel, blue channel.

When I selected no shader, I see it in Grayscale, for just one channel.
But when I selected shader, I see it in Full-Color, like the original.
