Run dxdiag. Check the first page (specs) and the Display tab (graphics card). Post relevant info.

Hmmm... OK. Why do you have 254 MB of RAM when it should say 256 MB? Where are the other 2 MB? Does that mean you have onboard graphics card? If so, you need to increase video memory size at least up to 8 MB, so you can have:

256 MB = 248 MB + 8 MB Video.

Remember that DirectX requires at least 8 MB to run 3D acceleration, but I'm not quite sure if this helps you to solve your emulation problem.

Check the Display tab also and post info on your Display Device. I'm fairly sure that you have an integrated graphics controller and that is most likely the source of your problem.

Only the card name and chip type are important, and with that my suspicious were proved to be true.

Try Jabo's Direct3D6 graphics plugin, as that's pretty much the only plugin that'll work with the Intel graphics chips.
