Does an EE student qualify as a developer?

Java
C/C++
Assembly(x86)

Do i qualify as a developer? I would like to be part of the development of this emulator.

My motivation: N64 is my all time favorite console.

I am leaning towards precise emulation over speed. I would really enjoy working with the comunity, that been said i have zero experience with n64 hardware or emulation.

I am very interested just le tme know if there's anything I can do, if not I'll just enjoy your releases

you must know a lot of information about the N64 and how works the CPU, RSP, etc.
