Can someone post a guide or tutorial on how to play PJ4 with a Xbox 360 controller?

There are several threads about this but they are confusing since some of they contradict the other ones, I read in one of them to download the drivers from the Microsoft site, in other I read that I have to download xxxx name drivers, in other it said to download other drivers, so what's the best way to play this great emulator using the 360 controller? Help plz! :(

What happens when you use the controller with PJ64?

If the controller works in Windows... and you have the "XBOX360" drivers installed... and you have the current DirectX9 installed... and you have the control pad mapped in PJ64, it should work just fine.

I believe the default plugin that comes with the PJ download runs plug-and-play devices just fine.

yeah, apparently you won't get rumble because that requires Xinput, but the basic inputs should be covered by DirectInput. apparently, i dont have an xbox260 (is there really nothing to play on it ;P)

So I just have to download the drivers from the MS website and that's it?

What are those N-Rage drivers I read about? And how do I get rumble to work?

I forgot to ask, is it possible to connect 2 or more xbox 360 controllers and play for example Mario Kart 4 players in a single computer?

N-Rage's input is a plugin for the Project64 emulator. You'll want N-Rage's DirectInput8 2. You can download it here. (Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the disk icon to the right of it.) Once you've downloaded it, open it and extract the DLL file into the "Plugins" folder inside your Project64 folder.

Select it under "Input Plugins" in Project64's plugin tab in the settings screen.

And yes, you should be able to use up to 4 X360 controllers with it.

So that's it? Besides that, should I install the drivers for the controller that you download in the Microsoft website, or not?
