Best Plugins/Settings for my system, Help please?

Hi, I'm pretty new to all this. I got Project 1.5 Final downloaded and loaded up some roms on my computer #1 (Super Smash Bros) And it ran okay but there was some slow downs in some areas...is there anyway to speed that up? And is it even possible to get any emulators working respectably fast for system #2 (Super Smash bros as an example)?

#1: P3 Celeron 900Mhz, 384MB memory, Geforce2 GTS 32MB, Windows XP SP1

#2: P2 Celeron 400Mhz, 64MB, ATI Rage 128 8MB, Win98SE

#2 will be an extreme pain in the ass trying to play games on, its too slow, low memory, and not a great video card

As kiara said, #2 is a low end system. Try 1964 or uHLE2064.

Forget about #2. Nevermind it's too slow, it's also got a crappy graphics card. The hazzle of getting it to work at a normal speed PLUS getting the graphics to work is NOT worth the aggravation.
Can you even do N64 Emulation with only 8MB graphics memory? With the 64MB System Memory you'll have a very hard time getting anything to run. I strongly recommend not wasting your time.

For #1, i'd recommend 1964 w/ Rice's Latest, N-Rage, Azimer's HLE Audio.
