All,

I'm curious if anyone can give me reassurance that my computer meets all the necessary requirements for P64 and most games. I've read the main page and everything I've read has led me to believe my computer is very well capable of handling P64 and ROMS. Yet, I won't know until next week sometime until I receive ROMS. Could anyone just reassure me that everything is alright and I'll be fine for a majority of games?

System: Windows XP (SP2), Intel P4 2.2 Ghz, 768 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9200 (PCI slot) Video Card, Audigy SE soundcard.

I'd appreciate any confirmation. I'm just really anxious for SM64, Zelda, and others and want reassurance.

Best...

Yes, I think your computer is capable of emulate N64 with decent quality but... nobody can give you reassurance! Your computer specs looks great, but there are compatibility and configuration problems that you have to face sometimes. The best way to check that you meet ALL the requeriments is to run an emulator, load a rom and play!

If you have problems them, post again in the right thread and we will try to help.

Get fun!

Your computer is good enough to runs the games. However, majority of the problems you might (and probably will) come from the graphics plugin(s) and the emulator itself. Project 64 plays most games well, and it doesn't play a handful of games at all.

Yes, PJ64 emulates Super Mario 64 pretty much flawlessly and Zeldas with a probably a few bugs here and there, but nothing earth-shattering.

Tnings get better once Porject64 1.7 gets a public release.
